Bali Poly resumes 2019/2020 academic Session

*Freshers take lead, old students to return Feb 24

The Federal Polytechnic, Bali has resumed activities for the 2019/2020 academic session. The educational institution reopened yesterday, 20th January.

This was contained in a Statement signed by the Registrar of the institution, Dr O. J. Ekanem and made available to THE INK.

According to the release, activities have started in earnest for the new students as they are to report in school immediately for registration and for other academic works.

Old students, who are still currently undertaking their industrial training in different establishments in and outside the State, are to resume for registration and lectures on 24th February, 2020.

The Statement reads, “This is to inform all students of Federal Polytechnic, Bali in particular and the general public that the Institution will resume for the 2019/2020 academic session on Monday, 20th January, 2020. Accordingly, all fresh students, (ND I) are expected to report on that date for Registration. For returning students (ND II), resumption date from SIWES and Registration/Lecture is Monday, 24th February, 2020.”

“All freshers are expected to take the following steps: 1) Proceed to Admissions Office to confirm admission status.
2) Proceed to Bursary (Students Account Unit) for remitta code and then go to the bank for payment of acceptance fees and school charges.
3) Take the teller from the bank to the Bursary for receipts.
Proceed to the Academic Affairs Division for Registration and further instructions.

“For avoidance of doubt, students are advised to provide the following documents for Registration:

Original/Photocopies of ‘O’ level SSCE Certificates (WASCE/NECO) or its equivalent,
Birth Certificate or Age Declaration,
Certificate of Origin,
JAMB Admission Letter,
Medical Certificate, Student should report to the Medical Coordinator for appropriate form and further directives.
4 Passport size photographs.
(e) Consult the 2019/2020 Academic Calendar, which has been displayed in the respective Departments and the Notice Boards for detailed academic activities.

“Meanwhile, students are strongly encouraged to conclude pre-registration formalities such as payment of acceptance fees/school charges and acquisition of Medical Certificate, before the date of commencement of Registration. Management wishes all staff and students a successful 2019/2020 academic session”,the statement concludes.
